Find original spare parts more quickly
A new app by Plasser & Theurer makes it easier than ever before to find the right original spare parts and inquire about them from Deutsche Plasser. In addition to the printed spare parts catalogues, the new app offers a modern and convenient opportunity to find and inquire about spare parts easily. The app is available for free for smartphones and tablets with iOS or Android operating systems.
The SmartCatalog is structured similarly to the printed catalogue. This makes it possible to find parts quickly. However, the app only contains catalogues for the machines owned by and activated for the operator. The advantage: the customer can search through the spare part specifications of his machines and finds the right spare part more quickly. The search within the app is a central function. It makes it possible to search for parts efficiently. When searching for the word “cylinder”, for instance, all cylinders available for your machines are shown. The search covers either the entire machine or machine elements. For instance, you can search for cylinders for the tamping unit used on your machine.
40,000 product photos ensure clear part identification
Currently, the app contains more than 40,000 photos that are updated and expanded continuously. This makes it possible to identify the required spare parts easily and to save valuable time in the inquiry process.
The app contains the technical drawings you know from the spare parts catalogues. They help you find the right spare part quickly in the usual manner.
Use the app to directly inquire about parts
Inquiries to Deutsche Plasser can be made directly via the app. The selected parts are put on an inquiry list. Based on the respective parts list, the app suggests the right quantity of a certain spare part. It goes without saying that you can change the quantity manually. Once the inquiry list is complete, you can add a comment and send it to us directly via the app. As usual, you will receive an individual offer of Deutsche Plasser.
If you prefer to send inquiries to a department in your company, such as the procurement department, before sending them to us, we are happy to make sure that app inquiries are sent to your company first. From there, they will be sent to Deutsche Plasser through the usual channel.
Regardless of the option you choose, the advantages are obvious: You will find the right parts easily and quickly. Based on the parts list, you will obtain a suggestion on the quantity of parts. The inquiry will be fully prepared in the app. This prevents typos or twisted numbers that could lead to delays in the further processing.
Download and installation
The app is available for free in the App Store and Google Play Store. After downloading it to your smartphone or tablet, we ask you to register. We will process your registration quickly and send you your login data within a few workdays. Choose the machines of your fleet you or your members of staff wish to access via the app and download the respective catalogue to your device.
